Mnemba Atoll
The Mnemba Atoll attracts a large number of divers. The area is a protected marine park, a fascinating place with impressive marine life. The coral reefs are home to numerous marine animals, from tiny shrimp and giant turtles to giant and sociable whale sharks.
Nungwi Beach
The village north of Nungwi is the only area of the island not affected by the changing tides, here the white sand and coconut palms give way to a magnificent turquoise lagoon enclosed by a coral reef.
Fukuchani Caves
A historical site with ancient ruins from the Portuguese era and an incredible limestone cave with stalactites and stalagmites. You can snorkel in the freshwater lake in the cave and see submerged stalagmites underwater. An extraordinary natural site.
